ABOUT US

Kendor Wood is a family-owned manufacturer of custom kitchen cabinet doors, drawer fronts, wainscoting, end panels, and specialty items.  Ken-Dor Company was started in April 1982, when Dan Upton, Sr. and Danny Upton (father and son) sold their cabinet shop, Upton’s Cabinets.  Dan Upton’s brother, Virgil Upton, joined as a partner in 1982 and the company was incorporated and became Kendor Wood, Inc.  The family continues to be involved in the daily operations with the addition of Jeff and Cheryl Holt, (Dan’s son in law and daughter), Juanita Upton (Danny’s wife), along with two of their sons.  Using a wide variety of wood species and styles, we can create just about any look imaginable.  The ability to mix and match profiles allows for the end product to be a unique custom creation.  Having been in the cabinet business for years before the opportunity to market our doors came about, we feel we have the knowledge and expertise to provide a quality product.
